Coleman Road Trip Grill

• When the Coleman Co. wanted to introduce a new concept in portable grilling, we gladly accepted the challenge. They needed a grill that was lightweight and portable, yet could provide the versatility needed for a wide variety of uses. Based upon the initial configuration provided by the Coleman Co., we generated sketch concepts through CAD concepts and ultimately provided them with an authentic “open flame” grill design that could utilize any size propane source for maximum portability. The handles are specially designed to double as leg rests, a function which makes the roadtrip ideal for tailgating or using during family outings. Its removable Mix & Match cooking surfaces provide maximum versatility by providing double the cooking area of most other portable grills. From concept sketches through CAD modeling, we provided the Coleman Co. with an innovative and useful solution.
